The Andrina Goodwin Foundation ("AGF") is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) # 45-2306622, organization dedicated to supporting cancer awareness programs, education programs and support groups, and is aligned with like-minded groups and non-profits that advance the fight against cancer as well as those caregivers and organizations whose compassion, empathy and sensitivity are instrumental to providing emotional and physical support to the patient and their families.

As you can imagine, financial support is extremely important to the Andrina Goodwin Foundation, as we rely on donations to provide support to organizations in the community that are greatly needed. For this event, the proceeds will go to help those who do not have adequate health insurance or financial resources, receive hospice or home health care during their end-of- life care.

What does end-of-life care mean? When a patient’s health care team determines that the cancer or illness can no longer be controlled, medical testing and treatment often stop. But the person’s care continues, with an emphasis on improving their quality of life and that of their loved ones, and making them comfortable for the following weeks or months.
Although we wish for a ‘cure’, we are focused today on ‘caring’ for those individuals and their families, who are less fortunate and need our help during a very difficult time.
