Morro Creek Ranch was formerly a portion of the original Morro y Cayucos Spanish Land Grant. In 1978 Bob Staller, the Resident Co-Managing General Partner, purchased it after developing the irrigation system and doing extensive soil and climate analyses to determine that the Hass avocado (the most popular variety worldwide) could grow and prosper in this well-defined micro climate. In the ensuing thirty years an extensive Hass avocado orchard planting was established and today we harvest the production of over 27,000 trees to various California packers who then grade, pack, and ship our Hass avocados all over the world.

Morro Creek Ranch can provide organically certified and competitively priced Hass avocados from our 15 acres of organically dedicated land. Our regular satisfied customers include restaurants, sushi bars, caterers, and local health and specialty food shops.
