San Luis Powerhouse was established in 1972 and has been family owned and operated by Russ and Sue Kimmell since 1976. For over 35 years we have operated from our same location at 798 Francis Ave in San Luis Obispo and have established a reputation as experts in our field. In addition to private residences, over the years we have provided products and services to hundreds of businesses including hospitals, surgery centers, police and fire stations, grocery stores, cell tower sites, TV and radio stations, and convalescence care facilities.

We are a registered dealer for all major generator manufacturers.

We offer 24/7 emergency response for repairs and our technicians are continuously trained in the newest emergency back up technology. Our business is to keep your business operational when your power fails.
